Inspiration: 40 Days in the Word

Church Development shares what's inspiring us lately. In this case, it's what is about to inspire us, as we join with 6,000 churches for 40 days in focusing more intently on God's Word.

While these inspiration blogs are designed to share what God has used to speak into my life lately (past tense), I'm going to break my own standards right away and invite you into what I know is going to inspire me over the next 40 days: The Bible.

Holy cliché, Batman (and for once, fairly accurate, too)! Picking the Bible as inspiration to a Christian is no shocker, but it seems as though God is kindling a desire for His book this year, as over 6,000 churches have already signed up for this 40-day series designed to teach people how to be both readers and doers of the Word:

Whether you've never read the Bible before or you've absorbed it cover-to-cover multiple times, with instructional videos and a community emphasis, 40 Days in the Word is sure to be a helpful aid to your understanding of who God is.
