Annual Stewardship Campaign Consultation and Management

Church Development offers clients advice and hands–on support for building or retooling their annual stewardship campaign. Our annual stewardship campaign can be conducted as a stand–alone solicitation or seamlessly incorporated into a church capital campaign, eliminating the need for multiple solicitations in one year and allowing churches to offer intense stewardship education. Our consultants coordinate the annual stewardship campaign along with the planning and solicitation phase of the capital campaign.

Our consultation services include, among others:

• Incorporating annual stewardship into the organizational infrastructure of the church capital campaign
• Building a detailed campaign calendar illustrating the joint annual stewardship and capital campaign process
• Defining key roles and responsibilities for volunteers, including the stewardship volunteers
• Developing a customized campaign training manual available to each person working on the campaign
• Designing a format and suggesting content for annual campaign newsletters, a campaign brochure and a pledge card
• Crafting a follow–up plan that brings the solicitation phase of the annual stewardship campaign to a close, fostering year–long stewardship education and maintaining strong collections
