"Our capital campaign has actually had a revitalizing effect on our congregation. I have seen many good, healthy connections - between the pastors, leaders and members - connections that enable us to move forward in unity as we follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit. It is refreshing to take part in a Christ-centered effort to which so many people are contributing through diligent prayer and personal effort. Church Development provided us with excellent campaign management, and their consistent communication and attention to every detail made this process easy on our staff."

"Through our capital campaign, church members’ lives were transformed. Now, our annual giving, volunteerism and attendance have all increased."
Pastor Dan Dolquist Grace Presbyterian Church, Centennial,Colorado
"I have retained many capital campaign consultants and only Church-Development worked hard at tailoring the campaign to our unique needs."
Cheryl Kohlsteadt, Administrator Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Liberty, Missouri
"For us to raise over 600 percent of annual giving in our capital campaign, in the face of an economic crisis (spring 2009), was truly astounding. The icing on the cake is our five-year follow through plans that invites new members to join the campaign and solicits estate gifts from our senior leaders."
Fr. Charles Rowe Twelve Apostles Catholic Church, Platte City, Missouri
"This is a note to confirm what a blessed experience to work with Church-Development on our recent campaign. The goal we set for ourselves was to raise almost $1 million dollars, and there were a number of people in our congregation who felt initially that was extremely ambition for a church of our size and economic abilities. The thing that struck me in our initial meeting with Denis Green and Darryl Prater from Church-Development was their emphasis on a capital campaign as primarily an opportunity for spiritual growth as a church. The priorities that they set, and the focus they have as an organization, really helped us set the agenda for our congregation, that this is an opportunity for people to grow spiritually, and that in many senses, raising the money is a by-product of spiritual growth. That impressed me right up front, and I felt like these are the right people to do this campaign for us. The other thing that was such a blessing was how highly organized the process was, that it involved many, many lay people from our congregation on the varying groups that were part of the process. Because so many individuals got involved, it helped give the whole process momentum and support from the wider congregation. I can, without hesitation, recommend the Church-Development to anyone, any group, that is considering doing a capital campaign. They've been at it a long time, they obviously know what they are doing, and they are an amazing group of folks. As a footnote, even though the campaign was given a 3-year timeline, we had raised almost 80% of our goal within the first year, which as I understand it, is a pretty remarkable benchmark in capital campaign experiences. We owe our gratitude and thanksgiving to the God who has blessed us and also to the Church-Development and the wonderful work they did with our congregation. I would be glad to answer any questions or concerns your organization may have. God bless you.”
