Greene began working in the nonprofit development field in 1981. He founded Church Development in 1992 after a near-death experience motivated him to integrate his faith, education and skills in work that served the church and the virtue of stewardship. His undergraduate and graduate studies are in organizational development and he was awarded the CFRE professional designation by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. He has helped over 200 churches across the USA raise more than $200,000,000. Greene is a member of the National Association of Church Business Administrators. He is the author of The Stewardship System, Stewardship-Based Capital Campaigns, and How To Ask For Donations as well as numerous articles on stewardship.

Stephanie has many years experience volunteering in her church, the community, and in her children's schools. For three years she served as a school Stewardship Chairperson. She enjoys running, Pilates, and spending time with her husband and children.
Kendra began her journey with Church Development in 2017 with a success Capital campaign, Annual Stewardship, and Annual Diocesan Appeal simultaneously at a parish in Kansas City, MO. She has valuable experience in team building, coordinating, designing campaign literature, and communicating with parishioners. Kendra believes that stewardship is essential for a healthy and secure church. Kendra lives in Kansas City, MO with her husband, Bill, and son, Finnegan where they are active parishioners at St. Thomas More. In her free time, she enjoys running marathons and half-marathons and watching her son play basketball.
Ed Dobmeyer has worked with Church Development as a Communications Specialist and Campaign Manager since 1995. He has managed campaigns for churches in the Kansas City area and in the Atlanta area where he currently lives. Prior to joining Church Development, he worked in the field of Adult Education as a teacher, program manager and consultant.
Rev. Dan Dolquist, PhD, MA, MDiv
Dan began his relationship with Church Development as a client when Church Development was hired to assist with redeveloping his urban residential church in Kansas City, Missouri. For the next two decades, each time the congregation he was pastoring conducted a capital campaign, he turned to Church Development. Dan is a veteran of five capital campaigns and 25 stewardship campaigns. He is ready to share his expertise and personal experience with the churches he serves.
Dan’s first book, Being Here: The Practice of Presence, was published in December of 2014.
Jacque Kelly, MBA
Director of Finance
Jacque has over 15 years of experience in small business and non–profit financial management consulting. As a volunteer, she helps both churches and parochial schools achieve their financial goals. In her free time, Jacque hangs out with the Benedictine Sisters in Atchison, KS as an oblate in training and with the Jesuits at the Ignatian Spirituality Center of Kansas City.
Mark has been serving the religious and non-profit sectors for the past 20 years. He has lead many strategic planning processes that have led to various fundraising activities to achieve respective goals. In addition to his own successful personal ventures he has most recently held two senior executive positions with major corporations in an effort to guide strategic initiatives. Mark brings these strategic skills to help church in their visioning efforts.
Debbie McShane has worked in the design field for 25 years, creating for a variety of profit and nonprofit clients. As a seasoned graphic designer she is especially passionate about working on projects with people who are committed to making the world a better place. Outside the office Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 kids, who keep her on her toes!
Tom Minges, MA
Tom has served church congregations most of his life, as pastor, finance director, planner and stewardship coordinator, in many diverse church settings. For over five years he was director of the Office of Stewardship and Development for the Catholic Diocese of Kansas City – St. Joseph, responsible for a multi-million dollar annual appeal, stewardship education, planned giving and development.
Tom has seen at close hand the impact of stewardship on churches, and the impact of churches on individual lives and society. He joined the staff of Church Development in 2012.
Tom has M.A.s in Theology and Counseling and lives in south Kansas City with his wife Rebecca.
Darryl Prater, MCM
Darryl Prater has served in church ministry for over 30 years, gaining experience as a pastor, church musician and a church fundraising professional. As a seasoned senior consultant he is passionate about leading churches to achieve their spiritually-focused stewardship goals. Darryl is actively involved in his church as a volunteer choir member and orchestra director. Outside the office Darryl enjoys, walking, fishing and yard work.
Marthame Sanders, MDiv
Marthame Sanders has worked in the church world for 20 years, gaining experience in stewardship development, pastoral leadership, and communication. As a seasoned campaign consultant, he is passionate about advancing individual and congregational generosity. In addition to campaign consultation, he is also involved in the Atlanta community of churches and non-profits. Outside the office, Marthame enjoys his family, music, and performing improv comedy.

Meredith Snyder brings 7 years of ministry and project management experience to her position as Director of Outreach. A graduate of Loyola University Chicago, a former Jesuit volunteer, and the former Director of Campus Ministry at her high school alma mater, Meredith has a passion for building community and strengthening faith. John Shehane, CFRE
Senior Consultant/Grant Writer
John Shehane is an experienced fundraiser and nonprofit consultant. John is driven be the desire to remain active in the development field and takes pride in providing the best service possible to clients and charities with which he is involved. His personal goal is to complete 50 years as a profession on July 1st of this year. Beyond that, John would like to become the world’s first 100 year old fundraiser.
Randy Tedford, MDiv
Randy has worked as a pastor with churches of all sizes across much of the Midwest since 1983. In 2000, hebegan working in banking, six years as a commercial lender. He has also owned and managed his own businesses – a family farm in southwest Kansas for ten years and a health products and nutrition store, which he co-managed with his wife, for three years. He lives with his wife Shari in Gardner, Kansas, and divides his time visiting six grandchildren spread from Manhattan, Kansas, to St. Louis.
Jody is Administrative Assistant for Church Development. She has many years of experience as owner/operator of a neighborhood business center specializing in customer service, project management and problem solving. She keeps track of myriad details to help give our clients the best possible service.
